How to pass the taxi operator's licence test

Key facts

• The test has 35 multiple-choice questions and lasts up to 60 minutes. You take it on a PC at a driver and vehicle licensing office.
• You pass with at least 30 correct answers. This allows no more than 5 mistakes.
• The test is in Norwegian without an interpreter. You can request headphones to hear the text read aloud in standard written Norwegian [bokmål].
• Topics include licence requirements, road traffic, employer responsibilities, health and safety, business structures, finance, fares, trip logs, taxes and duties.
• You get the result immediately after submitting. You can ask for a printout showing which topics you answered incorrectly.
